Chai from scratch
INDIAN SPICED CHAI
There is nothing like a warm Indian spiced tea to warm you up and take you to another place …
INGREDIENTS
+ 3 Cinnamon Sticks + 4 star anise
+ 6 cloves + 10 black peppercorns
+ 20 green cardamon pods + 1 tsp fennel seeds
+ 3 tablespoons of Assam tea + fresh ginger sliced
+ 4 cups water + 4 cups milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring water and spices to a boil // simmer for a couple of minutes // Add milk + tea to the spice mixture // Simmer for a few minutes // take off heat
steep for a couple of minutes // Strain into cups to serve
